I am an executive at Zhuoyu, a company that designs and crafts furniture and utensils for tearooms.
We hired Lantern Digital to create a new bilingual (Chinese + English) product website for our brand, using our existing brand identity and product photography. Since the launch, they have also been providing us with ongoing support.
I found Lantern Digital through an online search. I chose them over other companies because of their high ratings, their proximity to my geographic location, and the alignment of our company values. A team of 2 to 5 people from Lantern worked on our project.
The scope of work was comprehensive. We provided our brand assets and product photography. The Lantern team visited our studio to better understand our vision, then developed concepts and page designs for all the key pages. After we approved the designs, they programmed the website and successfully launched it. They currently also handle our hosting and ongoing support.
As a measurable outcome, we successfully launched a new Zhuoyu website that includes all of our collections and products.
Regarding their project management, everything was delivered on time and according to our expectations. I was particularly impressed that Felicia was always available to support us and answer any questions we had. Our communication was a mix of in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and emails or messaging apps.
What I found most impressive about Lantern Digital is that they are an international team based in Shanghai, which offered us both ease of communication and a valuable global perspective.

We needed help rebuilding and redesigning our website, which was originally built by another company.
Lantern Digital has designed, built, and hosted our website. The team has also created new content for our large site, which includes payment and video streaming features. We found them through an online search. We chose them over other options because they were close to our geographic location, their pricing fit our budget, they were a great culture fit, they offered good value for the cost, and their company values aligned with ours. We started working together in October 2019, and the engagement is ongoing. We've seen an increase in the number of visitors to our site, as well as an increase in video views and payments.

We hired Lantern Digital to develop a new website and online shop for our brand. They also often sent step-by-step guidelines for any Shopify issues. What I found most impressive is that the team has been very receptive to our ideas and needs.
