Over the past year, MPP decided to revamp their site to improve the user experience and bring the interface up to date. To get started, we conducted a UX audit to identify any easy-to-fix usability issues that we could quickly redesign. Since we didnt have much information about how users were interacting with the site, we also conducted interviews with people from various organizations. We found that users appreciated the minimalistic design, but wanted more clarity in the table presentation and some improvements to the search bar and reporting tools. In the redesign, we made the data table more visually appealing by adding some whitespace around the cells and tags for key information. We also added a saved search feature to allow users to easily return to their previous searches, as they mentioned they frequently check back for updates on their queries.
The MindShift team came to us with the work of a noted psychiatrist and a desire to create a digital experience using the evidence-based approach hed created. The approach was unique in that it can work in conjunction with other recovery methods and has a heavy emphasis on changing behaviors. Our goal was to help discover what this experience might look like when translated into a digital product. We got to work immediately on whiteboarding workshops with their team to start understanding their goals, their recovery methodology, the people in recovery, and what a minimum viable product might look like.

Intterra, a public safety intelligence platform serving hundreds of agencies, partnered with Goji Labs to modernize their mobile experience and improve real-time emergency response and community communication. Supporting mission-critical operations across agencies including California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, the platform needed to deliver reliable situational awareness under low connectivity, high data loads, and multi-agency deployments. We rebuilt the platform using a scalable React Native architecture with advanced geospatial visualization powered by Mapbox, Inc.. The result is an offline-capable, real-time intelligence system that reduces legacy technical debt, improves field reliability, and helps agencies and communities access trusted emergency information during critical incidents.
