We worked with Weelorum to build a mobile application and support the early stages of product development. Our goal was to create a solid technical foundation and start shaping the user experience. We found them through an online search and selected them based on their strong reviews, good value for cost, and overall alignment with our expectations. The team felt like a strong cultural fit from the very beginning. The team size on their side was between 2–5 specialists, depending on the project stage. During the engagement, Weelorum covered several key areas, including UI/UX design, business analysis, backend development, QA testing, and project management. They helped us build the backend of the application and design initial user flows, which gave us a clear starting point for further product development. Their project management was very strong. The team did a great job translating requirements into clear tasks for developers and stayed highly responsive throughout the process. Whenever issues came up, they addressed them quickly and kept everything moving forward. Communication was smooth and consistent, mainly through virtual meetings and messaging. What stood out most was the team itself — well-structured, professional, and clearly skilled in what they do. It felt like everyone was aligned and knew their role. Overall, it was a positive experience, and there’s not much we would change.

We worked with Weelorum from April 2024 to June 2025 to build a mobile application for both iOS and Android using Flutter. We came to them with ready-made designs, but instead of just executing, they reviewed everything and suggested useful improvements early on. The work was organized in clear stages. They handled the full process — development, testing, QA, and releases — and also built a simple backend for the app. The first release included core functionality like authorization, authentication, and the main user flow. After that, we continued adding features step by step. We faced a few challenges along the way, especially with App Store and Google Play requirements. At times, there were also production bugs, but they responded quickly and worked through the issues. For most of the project, one engineer was assigned, with two additional developers joining at certain stages when needed. We found Weelorum through Upwork. They had strong reviews, relevant experience, and were in a convenient time zone. Their pricing was also reasonable compared to other options. Over time, the app was consistently updated and released to users, reaching around 300 active users and creators on the platform. From a project management perspective, everything was well structured. They used their own setup with Atlassian tools and spreadsheets, and we had regular sync meetings to discuss progress and solutions. A project manager was also involved to keep everything organized. Communication was mainly through twice-weekly calls and Slack. At times, the process could have been more flexible, and adapting to new requirements wasn’t always fast. Still, the overall workflow was solid and reliable. One thing we really appreciated was how predictable the delivery and costs were — they stayed close to the initial estimates, which is not always the case in development projects. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be stronger observability and monitoring, especially when dealing with bugs and releases. We also faced some challenges with data migrations and consistency for existing users. Overall, it was a positive experience. The team is reliable, and they’re easy to work with on a long-term basis.

We started working with Weelorum in May 2025 to rebuild our application from scratch and bring it up to modern standards. From the very beginning, the collaboration felt transparent and well-organized. We had full visibility into the process, with access to tools like Jira and Confluence, which made it easy to track progress and stay aligned at every stage. The team handled the project end-to-end — from redesign to full development in native Swift and Kotlin. One of our main concerns was keeping the platform stable and retaining users during the transition, and they managed this well by providing ongoing support and resolving issues quickly. We’ve invested around $100,000 so far, and the results at this stage are already promising. Development has been moving faster than expected, and the team’s proactive approach helps avoid delays. Internally, even our CEO has been consistently positive about both the process and the progress. They also played an important role beyond execution. For example, they helped us make key architectural decisions, like choosing native development over Flutter to ensure a better user experience in the long run. The first major milestone is the MVP, which already includes a monetization system with subscription management inside the app. Based on how this phase is going, we’re planning to continue working with them on further development after launch. Overall, Weelorum feels more like a long-term partner than just a vendor. Their attention to detail, structured approach, and genuine care about the product really stand out. So far, we’re very satisfied with the collaboration.
